Reader's Notes - Publishing's 'Radiohead Moment'
For those of you who might have missed the news, JK Rowling has circumvented print publishing altogether and released a huge archive of material related to the Harry Potter universe. It's called Pottermore, and it will allow fans to download, in essence, the outakes, rough drafts, dead ends, and other manuscripts-by-the-wayside on her path to the original seven Potter books. Olivia Solon at Wired UK offers a concise and fair reading of what Pottermore means -- that is, it's publishing's 'Radiohead moment.'
