Sunday Time Warp - Third Anniversary Show
This weekend will mark (more or less) my third full year programming music for the Sunday Time Warp program on WDNA in Miami. I feel pretty good about the mix of music on the show -- not just jazz, blues, and funk, but the hip hop and EDM that occasionally makes its way into the general flow, as well as the artist feature "Segment 3," which has been on hiatus for the winter. It all returns in full this Sunday, with lots of new music. So far so good, and if we can make it to five years, Henshaw has agreed to start planning a concert with as many friends of the show as we can manage! For now, tune in this weekend for new Rudresh Mahanthappa, DRKWAV, and Bob Dylan singing his best Frank Sinatra.
