Luna Lee plays the traditional Korean stringed instrument the
gayageum, and she's come to feature her playing by releasing a series of videos of her covering all different manner of music -- including her versions of notable works for guitar. Jimi Hendrix is a favorite of hers, but I'll share her version of a Stevie Ray Vaughan classic, "Lenny." I've also included an early performance of the tune from SRV himself, in case you want to compare the different senses of melody, phrasing, harmony, and time. Happy listening!
